Dear friends of passionate music,

With a diverse selection of concerts, we invite you to enjoy Ibero-American melodies and Argentine as early as autumn and dream of the upcoming warm summer evenings.

" The highly concentrated connection between conductor, soloist, and orchestra resonates with the audience, creating an inspired atmosphere. The 180 guests listen enraptured and earnestly, with tapping toe tips. "

Hommage an Astor Piazzolla
1921 - 1992

The guitar repertoire would not be complete without tango and even more so without Astor Piazzolla's tango. This brilliant composer was able to assimilate different influences and stamped them in a very personal way, thus providing a short, but very important original material for the guitar, which together with the numerous transcriptions, arrangements and adaptations, which have been made of his music, are part of the recurring program of many students of classical guitar around the world.

We are delighted to welcome guitarists from around the world to Tübingen and to announce that we will be covering the accommodation costs for all participants of the final round of the IGT Competition 2023!

Our aim is not only to provide a musical highlight but also to create a community where artists from all over the world can come together, exchange ideas, and inspire each other. By covering the accommodation costs, we aim to make your stay in Tübingen even more enjoyable and give you the opportunity to fully focus on your music.
